New Bearville Times - Upcoming Valentine's Dance, Featured BFS Member!
There's a new Bearville Times in Build-a-Bearville, containing more information and previews of the upcoming Valentine's Dance. The Valentine's Dance is only going to be running for 2 days, from February 12th to February 14th -- be there or be square!!
Most of the information contained in it, we've already told you about: new heart-shaped room, the Valentine's Day furniture and Keke Palmer's upcoming guest spot on the Chloe Show. However, looking near the end, we've found that one of our BABVfansite forum members has had her new heart-shaped room featured in the issue! Congratulations to madison!!!
Chloe Rocks February Gift!
Congratulations to Jessicawho was the first member of our Bearville Forums to receive the Chloe Rocks February gift!
This poster completes a set of four Valentines posters given out by the special guests this month -- Maxine, GreenTracks and MiguelSunshine gave Valentine's posters as well!
Here is a picture of the poster which she has proudly displayed in her cub condo!
Jessica has also discovered that by clicking on the posters while they are on display, enlarges them! Great find, thank you!!

Happy Groundhog Day, Get Shadow Move Today!
Well, it's official -- Punxsutawney Phil has seen his shadow, predicting 6 more weeks of Winter! Everyone better keep those winter clothes out a little longer and keep bundled up.

Shortly after Phil made his prediction, the Groundhog was added to Build-a-Bearville and they didn't disappoint us.. They made a PAWSOME video animation of their groundhog that matched Punxsutawney Phil's prediction!
You can find the Groundhog by going to the Path in Friendship Forest and clicking on the flashing tree stump, shown in the picture above. The tree stump is where the Ground hog lives! Once he comes out to check his shadow, he'll give you a free Shadow move that also matches him being scared of his shadow! Your shadow will grow and you'll jump back in fright!

Thanks to a couple of BABVfansite members, we've been able to get pictures of 3 of the Celebearity/Special Guest gifts! We can confirm that all of the gifts for February are Valentine's Day posters, each featuring the Celebearity that gave it to you.
Thanks to Jessica for catching up with GreenTracks and MiguelSunshine and giving us pictures of both of their Valentine's posters. Thanks also to her as well for showing us a picture of Maxine's February gift! The only one missing for this month is ChloeRocks... Who's gonna find her first?

Valentine's Day, Free Home Away From Home Game Card!
Valentines Day seems to have made it's way into Build-A-Bearville this morning! When you log in, you'll notice hearts and Valentine's Day decorations all over BABV. Of course, being the first day of February, we have all-new prizes in the Furbulous Fountain!
Be Mine Dalmatian Quest in Bear University!
The new Be Mine Dalmatian quest that was advertised in the January 27th Bearville Times is now available for us to start! We're not sure how long it'll be available, so we advise you to start the quest as soon as possible to make sure that you can earn your free gift!
The quest starts right in the center of the Bear University square. Just click on the Furry Friend to begin. Also, check out the Bearville citizen right next to me who is of bearville insider (THE OWNER, JUSTIN!)... Beary cool!!
In order to complete the quest, you have to search Build-a-Bearville for 5 hidden hearts. The hearts are a bit difficult to find, as they are colored black and scattered in an ever-expanding Build-a-Bearville. Once you complete the quest, you will receive a free sound for your furry friend!

New Bearville Times - The Valentine's Day Issue!
We're
a little behind on reporting the new Bearville Times from January 27th,
but we wanted to draw attention to all the furbulous stuff coming to
Build-a-Bearville for Valentine's Day!
As you can tell, it's a "red" issue of the Bearville Times to celebearate Valentine's Day and in true BABV style, there are tons of events scheduled for all of us to enjoy!
Tomorrow, February 2nd, is Groundhog Day, so BABV will have a groundhog waiting for us in Friendship Forest who is going to give us a free move! Don't miss him tomorrow!
The new Chloe Show will have Keke Palmer as a special guest from February 12th through February 25th. Keke is best-known for starring in Akeelah and the Bee and as the main character in the Nickelodeon show True Jackson. Don't furget to check her interview out when ChloeRocks interviews her!
There are a ton of new furniture items in the Store Fur All Seasons, along with a new move, new outfits and a new "Heart Balloon" ride at the Bearville Outfitters store. In addition, thanks to a heads up from our members, there is new flooring at the Lumbearyard and new food in the Coffee Shop. You can also pick up a new heart-shaped room for your Cub Condos! Don't miss out on the Be Mine Dalmation quest that can be started in Bear University, as well!

Tomorrow, many American students do not have school today due to Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a very famous Civil Rights Leader that continues to inspire people. His messages of peace and harmony still resonate today. It is in his memory today and that for peace around the world, we are going to do a Love. Hugs. Peace. walk on January 18th around BABV. There are so many pawsitive ways that you can help out your community and the world - from helping out with neighborhood cleanups, soup kitchens, donating your gently used clothing to a shelter to doing a can drive for Haiti or even visiting your local BuildaBear store!! From now until January 31st, if you visit your BuildaBear store, you have the option of donating a dollar that will go directly to the American Red Cross. In Canada, you have the option of purchasing purple hearts for $1, which will directly go to Haiti. In the United Kindom, BuildaBear stores there have donated £5000! Have any of you helped out in your community in any way?
